FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Over the years the Fort Wayne Spacemen, a Tier III Junior A hockey team, has expanded their reach and ushered in hockey hopefuls from all over the world.

This year’s team welcomes Fabien Pilon, Noah Maine, Lucca Hebert and Mikhail Melnikov. These four hockey players all have unique backgrounds. Some are from different countries, but each of them made the decision to further advance their hockey careers with the Spacemen in Fort Wayne.

While the four boys may not be biological brothers and are from different parts of the world, they have learned to grow closer as family off the ice.

Fort Wayne’s NBC Sports Reporter, Chaz Frazier, introduces you to the four Spacemen players and how they are turning Fort Wayne into a home away from home, with the assistance of one generous family in The Hooiser State.
