October 14, 2022 Fort Wayne Spacemen vs MJDP

The Fort Wayne Spacemen traveled to Michigan on October 14th to play MJDP for the first time this season. Both teams were undefeated going into the game.

MJDP scored the first goal of the game at 6:51. At the end of the first period the score was 1-0 with MJDP leading.

The second period started off very strong for MJDP. MJDP scored at 4:38 and 5:31. The goals put MJDP’s lead to 3-0.

Fisher Moore scored at 8:09 getting the Fort Wayne Spacemen’s first goal of the night. Michael Scully and Sam Tetreault both got the assist for Moore’s goal.

MJDP responded 25 seconds later scoring their fourth goal of the game. At 10:53 MJDP scored to make their lead 5-1.

About ten minutes were left in the second period. Both teams did not add any goals on the board which ended the second period 5-1 with MJDP leading.

The Fort Wayne Spacemen started the third period off strong. RJ Rollman scored at 0:16.

Bryce Dunnigan was in net for the Fort Wayne Spacemen. He captured 24 saves through three periods of play.

The Fort Wayne Spacemen experienced their first loss of the season. The loss put the Spacemen’s record at 3-1.
