October 22, 2022 Fort Wayne Spacemen vs Decatur Blaze

The Fort Wayne Spacemen finished the two game weekend series against the Decatur Blaze on October 22nd. After Friday’s shootout win the Fort Wayne Spacemen looked to win both games against the Decatur Blaze.

Ido Steinberg was in net for the Fort Wayne Spacemen. The first period was a strong battle between both teams resulting in neither team scoring which ended the first period 0-0.

The Decatur Blaze scored the first goal of the second period. Logan Robins scored seven minutes later on a power play.

Dyllan Uehlin scored at 13:13. Uehlin’s goal put the Fort Wayne Spacemen up 2-1 at the end of the second period.

The Decatur Blaze scored on a powerplay tying the game 2-2. At 7:17 Danill Prigarin scored for the Spacemen putting them away.

16 seconds after Prigarin’s goal Antoine Fournier scores putting the Spacemen ahead by two. Steinberg captured 17 saves.

The Fort Wayne Spacemen got the weekend sweep of the Decatur Blaze. The Spacemen’s record is now 5-2.
