December 17, 2022 Fort Wayne Spacemen vs Minnesota Moose

The Spacemen finish off the showcase with an evening game on Saturday December 17th. Puck drop was at 6:30pm CST.

The first period both teams came out strong. Neither team could get one through the net as the scored remained 0-0 when the first period ended.

Kyle Remo scored the first goal for the Spacemen at 10:55 in the first period. Remo scored his second of the game at 17:56 in the second.

Remo was the only goal scorer in the second period. The Spacemen lead 2-0 at the end of the second period!

At 14:08 in the third period the Minnesota Moose score their first goal of the game. The Moose score just over a minute later tying the game 2-2.

With 5 minutes left in regulation neither team could break the tie. The Spacemen were headed into overtime for the second night in a row!

Noah Maine scored for the Spacemen at the 2:46 mark in overtime to win the game for the Spacemen! Bryce Dunnigan captured 36 saves throughout 62:45 minutes played in the game.

The Spacemen have captured 14 straight wins in a row! Due to Thursday’s game not being played we are waiting for confirmation on how the game will be scored.

The Spacemen currently have 42 points heading into the holiday break. The Spacemen remain in first place in the Midwest East divison!
