On the final day of the Midwest Showcase, the Hampton Roads Whalers beat the Spacemen Elite 5–2. It was a tight start, with the Whalers leading only 1–0 after the first half.

In the second half, Hampton Roads found more scoring chances and pulled ahead, but the Spacemen answered with goals from Tyson Finefrock and Hayden Stratman. Despite producing just 18 shots on goal, the Spacemen capitalized on two of their opportunities.

The Whalers’ steady pressure in the later minutes helped them secure the win and close out the showcase.
